What the proposal says about response times

This is the oldest of the four sheets from this agency shown here, and the only one with a routine mobilization line priced per day. The proposal says a contractor must begin requested routine tree removal within ten calendar days of notification, with liquidated damages of US$100.00 per calendar day after that, and respond to an emergency request within 24 hours, with liquidated damages of US$500.00 per calendar day. It says no work is permitted and no purchase order is issued until the required insurance certificates and certifications are in place. Routine mobilization and emergency mobilization are each paid once per day at the contract unit price, and neither applies to the lines priced by the hour.

Prices as printed

Each bidder wrote one unit price per line. The estimated quantity is the department's own figure. The proposal says quantities are approximate and are the basis for comparing bids. Unit price times estimated quantity matches the printed line total in every cell of the sheet, and the printed line totals add up to each bidder's printed total bid, so the line totals are left out of the tables.
