About the job
Blue Gum Tree Crew works across Brisbane's suburbs on removals, pruning and storm clean-up. We are hiring an experienced climber from overseas and will sponsor the work visa. The job is full-time and permanent.
What you'll do
- Climb and rig on residential and council jobs
- Work in a crew of three, with a lift when the job suits it
- Help train the crew's trainee
What you need
- Five or more years as a climbing arborist
- A trade qualification in arboriculture that can be assessed against the Australian Certificate III
- Good spoken English and a clean driving record
What you get
- AU$85–95K a year, plus superannuation
- Housing for the first month, and help finding a place after that
- Four weeks of paid annual leave
Gear
The company supplies saws, rigging gear and protective equipment. Most climbers bring their own saddle.
Work visa
The employer sponsors the Skills in Demand visa (subclass 482). You pay your own visa application charge. The government sets the processing time, and it can take several months.
