The species field joins the botanical name and the common name. The most frequent were Norway maple with 18,150 rows, cherry species and cultivars with 9,718, red-silver maple hybrid with 9,326, flowering plum with 7,472 and flowering pear with 6,880. By neighborhood, St. Johns had the most rows with 8,212, then Sellwood-Moreland with 7,296 and Richmond with 6,734. These are row counts in the portal, not a statement about how many trees stand in the city.
