What changed: rules and standards for tree work, by date
A dated log of changes to rules, standards and official guidance that touch tree work, newest first, each date as the official page prints it and each entry linked to that page.
Checked against the sources at the bottom of this page on October 8, 2026. Rules, fees and pay change: the source has the last word.
This page reports what the official source says. It is not legal advice: ask the office named here. It is a dated log of changes to rules, standards and official guidance that touch tree work. Each date is the one the official page prints, and each entry was read on the page named in its row on October 8, 2026. Only entries whose date and content were on the page are listed, so the log is short and does not claim to be complete.

Planned and pending
The OSHA Unified Agenda entry for the Tree Care Standard (RIN 1218-AD04), in the edition printed with Publication ID 2026, lists the stage as Proposed Rule and prints a proposed rule target of 10/00/2026, which is October 2026 with no day. The entry lists no legal deadline. A target on the agenda is a plan, and the entry shows no published proposed rule.

The page gives no date for the bill. The bill's detail is in the WorkSafe Victoria page.
