Tree climbing championships: every organiser, date, entry route and results page

A table of the tree climbing championships whose organisers publish a page, with where and when each is held, how a climber enters as the organiser states it, and a link to the organiser's own results page. The world final, three of the four regional finals, and the Canadian, British, Australian and New Zealand events have a page each.

Checked against the sources at the bottom of this page on October 9, 2026. Rules, fees and pay change: the source has the last word.

This page reports what the organisers say on their own pages. It does not name any champion: every organiser publishes its own results, and each row links to them. For how the five preliminary events and the Masters' Challenge work, see the guide to climbing competitions. For dates in a calendar, see the events page.

How the events connect

The International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) runs the world final, called the ITCC. Its events page says ISA chapters and associate organisations hold their own competitions, and that the male and female winners are invited to represent their organisation at the ITCC. It adds that chapters can also send climbers to a regional final, and that each regional final qualifies one man and one woman for the world final. The ISA regional page names four regional finals: Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America and North America.

Not every event on this page sits inside that chain. The ARB Show Open in the UK has its own format, and the Arboricultural Association says its UK and Ireland event is run under ISA rules. State and chapter events differ in who may enter, so the row for each says what the organiser's page says and nothing more.

Results and names

ISA lists results for the world final from 2012 to 2019 and from 2022 to 2025, with Masters' champions and score files. The Arboricultural Association lists winners of the UK competition by year from 1995, and marks 2020, 2021 and 2022 as years with no competition. The Atlantic, Ontario and Florida chapters and MW-ISA each post their own winners or scores, and the Prairie page marks its results section as under construction. None of those pages states terms that allow reuse, so this site links to them and does not copy a name.

The ISA Hall of Champions page also keeps two head-to-head ascent records, one for men and one for women, with the event where each was set. The Ontario chapter posts its own ascent records, set at its 2024 event.
